Music School

Specialist music teaching takes place from the beginning of the infant school, where students are introduced through their own practical music making to the instruments of the orchestra. The curriculum links training of the ear with a structured approach to musical notation.

The music suite, with its class set of keyboard instruments, allows all students to become familiar with piano keyboard. Individual tuition from visiting specialists is available for a varied and extensive range of musical instruments. The school choirs and instrument ensembles meet for regular practices.
